A client in the private jet charter industry was looking for an on-site test of their wireless network security due to the types of customers they have and the sensitivity of data that is shared over the network.
Baker Tilly attempted to gain unauthorized access to the various wireless networks available on-site, including both corporate private networks, as well as public customer networks. Through the use of various network scanning tools and wireless network cracking solutions, Baker Tilly was able to capture the handshakes utilized to access these networks; however, our attempts to utilize the data collected to gain access to the networks were unsuccessful.
The client was satisfied that while we were able to capture limited information about the network, our team was unable to gain access to the network and compromise the sensitive information on the network.
