Jay Trevino

Jay Trevino is a director with Baker Tilly’s public sector advisory practice.

Jay has more than 40 years of experience, the first three decades of which were in California local government where he served the cities of Santa Ana, Santa Monica, Brea and Pomona in various executive and management roles.

He has extensive experience in policy development and leadership, and keen skills in all aspects of planning, housing, environmental, permitting and development services. Jay is accomplished at organization assessments, process improvement, helping organizations improve performance by optimizing their management system, building effective teams, and strategic planning.

He leads consulting teams and complex engagements for various areas of government, including executive recruitment, and organization assessments in police, fire, public works, human resources, city attorney, library, finance, community services, parks, city clerk and community development.

Jay has an extensive client list which includes cities and counties throughout California, Washington and New Mexico.
