In 2019, the company was acquired by a private equity investment firm through a leveraged buyout, and in 2021, the PE firm and its affiliated manufacturing portfolio company decided to acquire another entity in the construction industry. With more than 30 years of combined industry experience, the company has served the storage industry through the construction of more than 4,000 facilities across the country.
Formed through a merger of two industry leaders, the company needed to modernize its digital capabilities to scale operations and support a strong projected growth in revenue. Progress towards these digital goals had been slow, with initiatives falling short of their goals or being abandoned after losing support.
