COVID-19 provider relief fund: preparation and requirements for your healthcare organization’s single audit

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has announced that the Provider Relief Funds from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) will be subject to single audit requirements. For many healthcare providers, this will be the first time they are subject to single audit or program audit requirements.
