James Lawson is a managing director in the specialty tax international group of Baker Tilly and is based out of the Philadelphia office. With more than 25 years of experience, he specializes in corporate and international taxation, serving large and middle market multinational companies across various industries, both public and private, and in the tax planning, compliance and provision disciplines in matters of US federal and state, US international and local country tax law.
Jim has been with the firm since 2011. Prior to joining the firm, he held leadership roles within the international tax practices of each a national and an international accounting firm. Jim’s more than twenty years of public accounting experience builds upon his six years of distinguished military service prior to entering the profession.
