Brian Wilson is a director in Baker Tilly’s consulting practice and has more than 20 years of systems evaluation and implementation experience. Brian’s work focuses in the areas of technology strategy, system evaluation and implementation, process improvement, and large-scale program/project management in the manufacturing and distribution industries.

  • Managed a complex multiyear program including the evaluation and implementation of ERP and eCommerce platforms for a $85 million international manufacturer
  • Managed large scale, multiyear/multimillion dollar IT development programs in the retail technology industry including the adoption of Agile/scrum development practices, strategic vendor management, and on-shore/off-shore development models
  • Managed the evaluation, design and implementation of multiple ERP solutions for numerous middle market clients including several metal stamping/tooling companies, a complex ETO/CTO material handling manufacturer, a water filtration manufacturer and a manufacturer of refurbished electronic components
  • Facilitated manufacturing and engineering process design and improvement workshops throughout ERP software implementations
  • Facilitated design/configuration workshops for a variety of processes during software implementations, including quotation/sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, production planning, procurement, distribution, accounting, human resources and engineering processes
  • Facilitated, organized and developed end to end testing processes and procedures for ERP and technology implementations
  • Managed diverse teams of resources from software vendors, application developers, subcontractors and system integrators through process design/system development and implementation projects
  • Conducted multiple supply chain and operational assessments for a variety of manufacturing and distribution organizations targeting process improvements in order management, procurement, manufacturing, distribution and after-sales support processes
  • Led team in development and continuous improvement of Baker Tilly’s ERP evaluation and implementation methodologies
