Michigan school district quarterly market update

Michigan school districts complete millions of dollars in bond sales each year to finance capital improvement projects or refinance prior obligations. In order to analyze bond sale trends and best practices, each quarter, Baker Tilly inserts the data into our innovative Baker Tilly Bond Calculation (BTBC).  The BTBC measures the cost of borrowing per $1,000, making complicated bond sale math understandable and easy to compare.  This is important because we know even small improvements in bond sales could mean thousands of dollars to our communities.

This page will contain our quarterly updates providing information on Michigan school district bond sale market conditions, volume and coupon selection performance.  Enjoy!
