Applications for $200 million in CCBHC Expansion Grants now available

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is accepting applications for Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Expansion Grants worth $200 million, a $50 million increase in funding from 2019. CCBHC certified clinics, or noncertified community-based behavioral health clinics that are able to meet the criteria and can be certified within four months of the award, can apply for the two-year Expansion Grants of up to $2 million per year. Although behavioral health organizations in all 50 states may apply, priority will be given to clinics in the 24 states that also received the grants in 2016.

Organizations who would like to apply have until March 10, 2020 to submit their applications. To learn more about the requirements and application process, please read the official announcement on the SAMHSA website.
