Kevin is a director with Baker Tilly’s transaction advisory services team and focuses on providing real estate valuation and advisory services. He has more than 15 years of valuation and consulting experience with a focus on real estate and serves a variety of industries. He has performed valuations for clients relating to a wide range of matters including corporate strategic planning, fair value measurements, insurance, purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment, secured lending and tax matters. His experience includes engagements in North America, South America, Europe, Australia and Asia.
- Provided valuation and advisory services for a wide range of real property types, including hospitality, retail, multi-unit residential, industrial, office, medical office and seniors housing
- Provided real property valuation and advisory services to a wide range of clients including institutional investors, private equity, public and private REITs, owner-operators and family trusts
- Regularly performs valuations of operationally complex real property including amusement parks, casino hotels, hospitals, resort properties and skilled nursing facilities
- Completed a valuation of a portfolio of approximately 300 seniors housing properties valued at over $4 billion and acted in an advisory and consulting role in relation to an ownership transition of the portfolio
- Executed an impairment analysis in connection with ASC 842 in relation to lease right-of-use assets for a portfolio of nearly 1,000 freestanding and in-line retail properties for a publicly traded corporation
- Performed a valuation of a major urban infill development in a major U.S. city that included a mixed-use, multi-decade development plan that involved complex TIF and grant financing and a wide range of entitlements
