Joshua Siegel

Joshua is a director with Baker Tilly in the transaction tax advisory services practice. He specializes in buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence, structuring, tax-free reorganization and spin-off planning and general tax optimization planning. Joshua’s career as an M&A tax professional spans over 10 years including mostly within the Big Four. Prior to client service, Joshua spent several years in the industry for a Fortune 500 hospitality leader. His experience and background in industry as well as in two of the premier M&A tax groups in the country has culminated in Joshua’s unique skill set of commercial business savvy and tax-technical know-how.

Joshua’s deal experience ranges from $10 million to $40 billion; from assisting an owner/operator to working with some of the largest private equity groups in the world. His industry experience includes, but is not limited to, technology, media and entertainment, hospitality, real estate, medical and pharmaceutical.
