Jenna Allen is a director and leader of customs and global trade services within Baker Tilly’s specialty tax group.

Jenna has many years of experience in global trade compliance, where she has worked both in-house and consultancy capacity. Her holistic approach to trade compliance has proven to consistently foster company-wide innovation through interdepartmental cooperation and planning with internal stakeholders such as tax, finance, logistics, procurement, operations, software and legal. She has a record of reducing the costs associated with importation via supply chain mapping, tariff engineering, origin determination and free trade agreement applicability, and effective negotiation and management of relationships with brokers, carriers, certification bodies and customers. Likewise, her proficiencies in risk mitigation for export controls include policy, procedures, training, jurisdiction, classification support and de minimus analysis.

Additionally, Jenna has deep technical expertise in product-specific trade requirements including encryption controls, chemical and apparel classifications, and safety, Wi-Fi and EMC conformance.
