As managing partner of tax services, Craig leads Baker Tilly’s national tax practice. Craig develops the strategic growth and direction of the national tax practice of Baker Tilly. Since joining the firm in 2003, he has established himself as a leader and has been instrumental in the growth and development of the tax practice. In addition to his leadership position at the firm, Craig has over 30 years of experience in taxation and accounting.

- Extensive experience with multi-national corporations with a main focus on corporate taxation, including planning, accounting for income taxes, and compliance
- Managed and performed tax planning, consulting, research and compliance projects for privately and publicly held corporations including large and middle market C-corporations, S-corporations, and start-ups.
- Experience with complex consolidated corporate transactions, including corporate acquisitions (stock and asset purchases), dispositions of subsidiary companies, international tax issues (CFC and branch operations), and multi-state tax filings
- Deals with federal and state tax authorities with regards to corporate income tax audit examinations
- Strong financial accounting knowledge and heavy experience with tax accrual calculations and disclosures included in SEC financial statement reporting
- Experience with documentation requirements associated with Sarbanes-Oxley and FIN 48
