Cary Mailandt is managing partner and practice leader for Baker Tilly’s business advisory services group. Cary brings to market a number of service offerings through Baker Tilly’s business advisory services group. These offerings include transaction advisory, strategy consulting, valuation services, CFO advisory, fund administration and capital markets advisory. Cary’s personal skillsets include strategy consulting services, helping both operating companies and private equity firms with revenue growth and profit enhancement strategies, both pre- and post-transaction.
He has worked across a number of industries, including manufacturing, technology, healthcare, distribution, retail and hospitality.
Prior to joining the firm, Cary was vice president of strategy and business development for a roll-up of PE-backed manufacturing and distribution businesses. Before that, Cary was a consulting engagement manager at Boston Consulting Group, working with clients across a broad range of industries and functions. Prior to Boston Consulting Group, Cary was with Texas Instruments in a number of engineering, product marketing and sales/distribution management roles.
Cary has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he played on the Division 1 men’s tennis team. He is married with four children living in Dallas, Texas.
