Cary Mailandt is the managing partner of the consulting department in the Dallas office.
Cary’s primary disciplines include growth strategy development, profit enhancement plan development and project management office execution. Cary’s clientele includes both operating companies and private equity firms that invest in companies across a number of industries, including manufacturing, industrials, technology, telecommunications, distribution, retail and hospitality.
Prior to joining the firm, Cary was vice president of strategy and business development for Golden Gate Capital-owned businesses. Before that, Cary was a consulting engagement manager at The Boston Consulting Group, working with clients across a broad range of industries and functions. Prior to The Boston Consulting Group, Cary was with Texas Instruments in a number of engineering, product marketing and sales/distribution management roles. Additionally, Cary is a board member of multiple for-profit and not-for-profit enterprises.
Cary has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he played on the Division 1 men’s tennis team.
