Responsibilities

Baker Tilly is looking to hire a Business Developer for our Enterprise Transformation and Digital Services (ETDS) Consulting Team. This team is focused on helping organizations transform how they operate through advanced technologies, change management, and a disciplined project delivery approach.

We are looking for self-motivated, and competitive individuals to help develop net-new clients, establish relationships with C-level executives, and drive channel partnerships. A combination of prospecting, lead generation, and driving overall business to closed opportunities, would be expected from this individual. Successful candidates will be brand evangelists for Baker Tilly, passionate about digital transformation driving business outcomes, and collaborative across a range of solution areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Find and grow new clients in collaboration with practice leaders.
  • Drive and monitor the business development lifecycle from lead generation to close.
  • Drive the growth of key partner relationships including Microsoft and AWS.
  • Enthusiasm towards high volume sales activities (calls, emails, social and networking).
  • Actively network externally at community events and Baker Tilly sponsored activities.
  • Work with internal partners to identify cross-sell opportunities and evangelize ETDS services.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of new and add-on opportunities.
  • Eagerness to work in a growth focused area of the business.
  • Leverage creative and effective approaches to open doors at targets and prospects.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of previous sales and account management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven track record of driving net-new business activity to close.
  • Demonstrated experience in opening the door at specific targets and prospects.
  • Experience tracking activity in Salesforce or other similar CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify common business challenges and recommend solutions for navigating transformational change.
  • Understanding of key technology solutions around data, application development and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience selling consulting-based solutions.
  • Experience guiding clients and team members through the sales development lifecycle.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize activities across a diverse set of expectations.
