Baker Tilly's Mark Ross Reappointed to the Healthcare Financial Management Association Principles and Practices Board

National healthcare practice leader reappointed to the Principles and Practices Board of the nation’s premier membership organization for healthcare finance leaders.

CHICAGO (February 28, 2019) – Leading advisory, tax and assurance firm Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP (Baker Tilly) announces Partner Mark J. Ross has been reappointed to the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Principles and Practices (P&P) Board.

HFMA is the nation’s premier membership organization for healthcare finance leaders with its mission to lead the financial management of healthcare. HFMA identifies gaps throughout the healthcare delivery system and bridges them through the establishment and sharing of knowledge and best practices. The P&P Board is comprised of professionals in both public accounting and industry who work with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) to address the unique financial reporting needs of, and improve consistency in accounting and financial reporting for, healthcare organizations.

The P&P Board also publishes issue analyses to provide short-term practical assistance on emerging issues in healthcare financial management.
