Doctor meeting with patient in home

Hospital-at-home is an innovative care delivery model that enables patients to receive hospital-level care in the confines of their own home. While other countries have adopted this model, the U.S. has moved at a slower pace; however, that is changing.

With the U.S. having the most expensive healthcare system in the world, and  hospital-at-home programs having proved to effectively cut the cost of care by 30% or more – while simultaneously improving patient outcomes and expanding bed availability – more and more healthcare systems are adopting this new approach.

Listen now for an informative podcast with Baker Tilly’s healthcare IT managing director, Steve House, and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) president and CEO, Russ Branzell, as they discuss the hospital-at-home delivery care model, how healthcare providers can successfully implement this model of care, and more.
