Brian specializes in working with investors, lenders, local/state agencies and developers, including for-profit, not-for-profit and public housing. He is well versed in structuring affordable housing transactions and has experience in affordable housing development, fund management, HFA underwriting, and investment banking.

Monica Sussman, Senior Counsel at Nixon Peabody

With nearly 30 years of experience in affordable housing, Section 8 and FHA multifamily housing programs, Monica represents developers in all types of affordable housing transactions. She is a former deputy general counsel for HUD and currently focuses her practice on real estate transactions, housing and community development law.

Bob Simpson, Founder at Simpson Impact Strategies

Bob is the founder of Simpson Impact Strategies, a multifamily social impact advisory firm that helps clients across the real estate sector maximize the environmental and social impact of their housing investments. He has experience in housing finance and public policy, most recently working more than 20 years for Fannie Mae as the VP and Head of the Multifamily Green and Affordable Housing Business.
