Are you or your clients exploring residency or relocation options within the U.S. or abroad?
Individuals may contemplate a move or transition to another state or country for numerous reasons — improved quality of life, reduced cost of business or decreased state taxes. Moving, however, comes with complex decisions.
Join us to discuss the latest wealth and tax policy proposals and other trends in the U.S. that are resulting in increased interest in residency transition within the U.S. and abroad. Baker Tilly’s Chris Parker and Alan Goldenberg will touch on when is the right time to start planning for a domestic transition and how we integrate estate, gift and tax planning into the process. Henley & Partner’s Isabel Quintero and Baker Tilly’s Art Dichter will lend their expertise to the conversation from the international lens, discussing global mobility and pre-immigration tax strategies.
