Zack is a principal with Baker Tilly’s manufacturing and distribution practice. He brings more than 25 years of public accounting experience with a specific focus on privately owned domestic and multinational companies. Zack’s clients have come to rely on his practical business guidance and assistance in meeting their objectives while considering him a value architect.
With Zack’s experience he can bring a practical audit approach to all his clients. His experience as part of the Professional Practice Group (PPG), as outlined below, results in audit approaches that are concise, efficient and do not exceed that of which is required by the underlying audit standards. Further, coupled with Zack’s vast industry knowledge, audit approaches focus on entity-specific risks that truly matter to those entities’ stakeholders and ownership (e.g., family owned versus, private equity owned).
- Executes financial statement per U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) audits. Primary clients range from multilocation domestic to multinational family owned, private equity owned or foreign owned entities in a variety of industries including but not limited to, manufacturing and distribution, life science client service, retail and pension plans, with a primary focus on manufacturing and distribution companies
- Serves as a member of the PPG and reviewer for required consultations for complex accounting and reporting matters including, annual goodwill and intangible asset impairment, business combinations accounting and reporting, accounting changes and deferred tax valuation matters
- Works with and assists clients in accounting for business combinations, performing buy side due diligence procedures, family business generation transitions, coordinating multilocation domestic and international engagements, including group reporting to foreign parent company auditors and with IFRS
