Russ is a director with Baker Tilly’s forensic, litigation and valuation services practice. Serving the Pacific Northwest, Russ has extensive experience in the measurement of losses. His more than 35-year career has focused on financial damage evaluation related to large commercial insurance claims including business interruption, extra expense, builders’ risk and liability. Russ’s damage evaluation experience has also been used in litigation matters.
- Business income loss and extra expense evaluations in the following industries: recycled metal products, fish procession, poultry processing, retail, hotel/motel, government, professional service, tool/part fabrication and more
- Involvement in multiple builders’ risk delay claims pertaining to apartment complexes in which lost rental income, soft costs and extra expenses are claimed
- Property damage claims – document repair/rebuilding costs pertaining to a remote launch site caused by the failed testing of a hypersonic missile test
- Liability claim - review and document repairs to hundreds of residential homeowners claims related to water pipe failures
- Testimony given in financial damage matters related to golf courses, fish processing plants, cold storage facilities and costs to defend environmental matters
