Peter Zofrea is an assurance director with Baker Tilly’s real estate and construction practice. He brings over three decades of public accounting experience serving public and private companies in the real estate industry. Peter serves clients through auditing, SEC reporting and compliance, project and financial analysis, internal control reviews, accounting consultations and capital and debt transactions.
Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Peter served as an assurance partner for a Big Four firm where he was based primarily in the LA and Orange County California offices. He also served as the founding partner and office of the managing partner for the Las Vegas office of the firm where he was responsible for all aspects of the firm’s operations in the Las Vegas market, including client development, audit methodology, campus relations, hiring staff, budgeting and maintaining quality control. From 2008- 2018 Peter was the co-leader of the firm’s national homebuilding practice where he was responsible for organizing the annual homebuilding CFO/tax director roundtable; coordinating the firm’s annual homebuilding CFO survey and driving analysis and dialogue around current economic, business, accounting and tax trends that affect the homebuilding practice and optimize deliverables.
