Nuruz Rahman is an accounting and audit partner with Baker Tilly US, LLP. Nuruz is a partner with more than 30 years’ experience in the firm’s Assurance and Tax Group. Nuruz provides financial statement assurance and business advisory needs of clients across a broad variety of industries, including real estate, private equity, financial services and manufacturing. He works closely with private equity investment real estate portfolio companies and privately held property owners. His areas of expertise include financial statement audits, complex accounting issues, as well as in matters pertaining to internal controls, entity structure, Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
