Nikki is a partner within the financial services practice and has been with Baker Tilly since 2008. Nikki specializes in the financial services industry with an emphasis on banking and capital markets. She serves clients including community financial institutions (public and private), collection agencies, specialty finance companies, and FinTech companies.
- Plans, coordinates and executes financial statement audit engagements, including integrated engagements related to Section 404 of the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Act and Section 112 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Improvement Act (FDICIA), for public (including accelerated filers) and privately held companies within the financial services industry
- Leads HUD audit engagements for financial service clients
- Assists clients in consultations and implementation of new accounting standards
- Offers recommendations on accounting policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls
- Experience in assisting clients through an initial public offering, including registration statement filings
- Assists with coordination of firmwide financial services training
