Mike Wente is a principal with Baker Tilly’s manufacturing and distribution practice. Prior to joining Baker Tilly in 2013, Mike spent four years with a regional accounting firm providing audit services to manufacturing and distribution and governmental clients.

- Experience in financial statement analysis and communicating results through reports and presentations to management, audit committees and boards
- Experience in operation assessments, control reviews and communication control recommendations to management
- Prepares comprehensive, detailed findings and recommendations outlining financial, internal control and operational improvements
- Reviews financial statements and disclosures to determine compliance with GAAP
- Develops tools and processes to enhance the client experience, working with additional service lines within the firm including, consulting, tax and business valuation
