
Michael is a director with Baker Tilly’s forensic, litigation and valuation services practice. He brings more than 25 years of expertise in forensic accounting and litigation support. Mike collaborates closely with clients to deliver a comprehensive range of services, including commercial property insurance claims, cyber insurance matters, litigation support and fraud investigations.
- Assist clients in calculating damages valuations sustained by companies for pending insurance claim items such as business interruption, builders’ risk, construction and restoration costs, film/tv/concert productions, cannabis farming and sales, manufacturing, inventory damages, hospitality and many other industries
- Assist clients in calculating damages valuations sustained by companies for pending lawsuits and insurance claim items
- Review contracts and insurance policies in order to ascertain proper valuation methods and model various outcomes for clients
- Investigate employee theft and dishonesty instances and calculate damages amounts
- Provide analyses to counsel as part of investigations and subsequent litigation relative to various accounting fraud schemes
- Litigation support and reporting in preparation for expert testimony
- Assist clients in alternate dispute resolutions (arbitration, mediation and appraisal)
