Marsha Ackerman, partner in the Tysons, Virginia office, has been with Baker Tilly since 2003. She works closely with her clients on a variety of financial statement engagements.
- Completes numerous audit, review and compilation engagements for private companies
- Serves as a leader of the firmwide technical committee for the real estate practice, helping monitor and respond to industry specific standards and guidance, update industry tools and templates and develop training content
- Recognized as a leader in the firm’s employee benefit plan practice as a member of the firmwide technical committee for the employee benefit plan practice, as well as a liaison between the technical committee and engagement teams
- Instructs various assurance trainings within the Tysons office and firmwide
- Serves as an engagement quality reviewer on a variety of assurance engagements within the Tysons office
- Works across a wide range of industries, including real estate, commercial, not-for-profit, technology, automotive and government contracting organizations
