
Mark Mohr is a director with Baker Tilly’s assurance practice. He has more than seven years of accounting experience. Mark collaborates with firm leadership and client service teams to assist with the development of accounting and auditing policies, guidance, training and tools. He plays a substantial role in internal and external quality monitoring activities, including the firm’s peer review and PCAOB inspection. Mark also administers several aspects of the firm’s quality control system, including public company client acceptance and continuance, independence checks and PCAOB reporting.
Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Mark spent time with a Big Four firm where he began his career focusing on expatriate and inpatriate taxation.
- Tests compliance with the firm’s quality control policies and procedures
- Project manager for the firm’s internal monitoring programs, including scoping and selections, monitoring progress and reporting results
- Monitors compliance with SEC independence rules, performs firm wide independence checks, and manages the firm’s restricted entity listing
- Develops and delivers internal training
- Member of the firm’s Assurance task force for mergers and related integration activities
- Task force member of the firm’s Assurance Innovation Committee
