
Manjima is a director with Baker Tilly’s development and community advisory practice. She is a mission-driven consultant dedicated to providing strategic and fundraising assistance to community development organizations seeking to maximize and measure their community impacts. She has extensive experience in the Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) industry, having worked directly with 200 CDFI banks, credit unions and not-for-profit organizations nationwide.
- Prepares federal and non-federal funding applications for CDFIs and community development organizations, including the CDFI Fund’s Financial Assistance/Technical Assistance, Bank Enterprise Award, Capital Magnet Fund, and Small Dollar Loan programs
- Helped CDFIs and community development organizations in obtaining $393M in grants and investments
- Worked with more than 70 CDFIs to plan for, obtain, and maintain CDFI Certification from the U.S. Department of the Treasury CDFI Fund
- Conducted over 55 strategic/community development plans, capitalization plans, and market studies for CDFIs
- Completed and supported 60+ impact assessments for community development organizations
