
Lindsay is a director with Baker Tilly’s manufacturing and distribution practice. She specializes in federal, state and local tax compliance and consulting. She works with manufacturing clients across the supply chain.
- Manages preparation and review of federal, state and local income tax return filings for individual, partnership, S corporation and C corporation clients
- Manages preparation and review of income tax provisions according to ASC 740 and FIN 48, including review of the income tax footnote in audited financial statements
- Manages tax engagements for portfolio companies in the manufacturing and distribution industry
- Works closely with partners on advisory projects to protect and enhance value, such as due diligence, research and development credit studies and transaction costs reports
- Reviews foreign income tax filings and positions, as well as assisting with local jurisdiction audits
- Coordinates preparation of sales and use tax, property tax and other miscellaneous tax return filings
- Manages review of QuickBooks financials, payroll oversight and bank management for various clients
- Assists with preparation of Forms 1099
- Researches and analyzes tax technical issues
- Reviews unclaimed property liability calculations, report preparation and voluntary disclosure agreements
- Experienced in a range of tax software programs, including GoSystems, InSource, ProSystems and Caseware as well as tax research software (BNA, CCH, RIA)
