Jim is a principal with Baker Tilly’s assurance practice. He has nearly 15 years of experience providing audit, tax and accounting services. Jim specializes in managing audit engagements of privately held companies in various industries including restaurant and hospitality, manufacturing and distribution, home builders, construction, professional services and not-for-profits.
- Significant experience with consolidated financial statements
- Assists in providing guidance on complex accounting matters such as stock-based compensation, lease accounting, revenue recognition and business combinations
- Works with clients on improving internal controls, refining operating processes and adjusting to Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) updates
