Jeremy Chapman is a partner with Baker Tilly’s commercial services practice. He is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience with both international and regional accounting firms serving clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, technology and life sciences.
Jeremy joined Baker Tilly in 2017, and as a partner in the firm’s commercial audit practice, he assists privately held companies and SEC registrants by providing various business advisory, audit and accounting services. He also audits employee benefit plans. Jeremy has comprehensive knowledge of complex and technical accounting issues such as revenue recognition, debt and equity offerings and acquisitions and divestitures. He is also proficient in planning and forecasting, internal controls and performance improvement processes.
- Directs all aspects of attestation engagements, including client coordination, planning, supervision and review of staff, completion activities and reporting
- Manages early-stage and emerging growth companies and complex equity structures, as well as SEC companies
- Provides accounting guidance and advice to clients, including implementation of new accounting pronouncements
