Jennifer is a managing director with Baker Tilly’s commercial services practice. She has extensive commercial involvement across various industries, including manufacturing and distribution, transportation, construction, real estate and broadcasting. Jennifer's expertise in employee benefit plan audits encompasses defined contribution plans (including 403(b) plans), defined benefit plans, employee stock ownership plans, and health and welfare plan audits. Jennifer is an active member of Baker Tilly’s Industry Centers of Excellence - Technical Committee for employee benefit plans, collaborating closely with practice leaders to develop the firm’s annual training and best practices. Additionally, Jennifer is recognized as a subject matter expert in the employee benefit plan practice.
Jennifer is a graduate of the firm’s leadership development program. In 2009, she was honored as one of the 40 under 40: Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants Members to Watch. Additionally, in 2013, Jennifer was recognized by the YWCA of North Central Pennsylvania as a Woman of Excellence.
- Assists with the development of the firm’s annual employee benefit plan training
- Assists with the development and maintenance for the firm’s best practices for employee benefit plans
- Responsible for scheduling team members to complete engagements and coaching and mentoring team members throughout the engagements
- Reviewing engagement work papers and financial statements ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards and ensuring the highest quality is maintained
- Facilitating completion of corporate tax returns for commercial clients
- Reviewing IRS Form 5500 for employee benefit plan clients
