Jeff Dorner is principal with Baker Tilly who has been with the firm since 2009.
As a member of the firm’s commercial services practice, Jeff specializes in providing advisory, accounting and assurance services to franchisors, retailers, professional services firms, software providers, employee benefit plans and businesses within the sports, gaming, entertainment and hospitality industries.
- Performs annual financial statement attest services, including audits, reviews and compilations
- Collaborates with other specialists across the firm to assist clients in addressing growth and tax planning needs
- Experience with complex transactions, including business combinations, stock-based compensation, multiple-deliverable arrangements and software revenue recognition
- Works with international businesses (or companies aspiring to grow internationally) to ensure global strategies are executed effectively and seamlessly
- Assists clients in drafting financial statements and related footnote disclosures
- Provides annual audit services on defined contribution (401k and 403b) and profit sharing plans to ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC, DOL and ERISA regulations
- Responsible for recurring quarterly procedures, as well as internal control procedures for gaming clients
