Deborah is a seasoned strategic finance leader with more than 25 years of experience spanning public and private practice. Known for her expertise in financial management, business strategy and operational optimization, Deborah delivers integrated solutions that drive sustainable growth and long-term value.

Currently serving as managing director in advisory at Baker Tilly, Deborah leads initiatives that transform finance and operations functions through technology and strategic process optimization. Her work empowers organizations to enhance efficiency, fuel innovation and scale with precision.

Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Deborah was principal of Concierge Advisory & Accounting at Hancock Askew & Co., LLP, who merged with Baker Tilly in 2025, where she led high-touch financial management services tailored to help companies navigate growth and change. Her hands-on approach enabled chief financial officers (CFOs) to shift from functional roles to strategic leadership.

Deborah’s career also includes leadership roles at two financial planning firms, where she specialized in tax, client accounting and outsourced CFO services. As founder of Deborah R. Meador CPA, she spent more than two decades providing fractional chief executive (CEO), CFO and controller services to small and mid-sized businesses, entrepreneurs and family offices.

Her comprehensive background includes business tax and accounting services, internal controls, change management and interim leadership for key financial roles.
