- Manages the preparation and review of corporate, partnership and individual federal and state income tax returns, including consolidated returns and multistate filings
- Computes ASC 740 corporate tax disclosures
- Develops FIN 48 statements of uncertain tax positions
- Provides advice to clients on tax credits, incentives, and other planning ideas, including renewable energy and fuel tax credits
- Oversees structuring and completion of section 1031 (like kind exchanges)
- Provides tax structuring advice in M&A transactions to clients looking to acquire or sell a business
- Assists with IRS and state audit defense and response to tax notices inquiries
