Cory is a director with Baker Tilly’s assurance practice. He has experience providing financial statement audits, employee benefit plan audits and due diligence services for clients in the manufacturing and distribution, retail and not-for-profit industries.
- Provides oversight and prepares financial statement audits, reviews, compilations and agreed upon procedure reports
- Performs defined contribution plan, defined benefit plan and employee stock ownership plan audits for a variety of clients in different industries
- Identifies accounting, financial statement and reporting issues based on professional guidelines including U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Examines and analyzes accounting records, financial statements and other reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting standards
- Assists clients with implementation of new accounting standards
- Advises clients on accounting, reporting, compliance and internal control matters
