He collaborates closely with middle market public, private, and private equity-backed companies with a focus on real estate developers, investors, brokers, and related entities. Chris also works closely with private equity portfolio companies in a variety of industries. Additionally, Chris specializes in providing employee benefit plan audit and consulting services.
- Provides leadership and management for Baker Tilly’s Philadelphia real estate practice
- Specializes in assisting clients with identifying their needs and proactively assembles and recommends appropriate solutions
- Plans engagements and directs fieldwork, including supervision of audit staff and ensuring engagements are completed per the applicable professional standards
- Experience as the manager on the integrated audit of an accelerated SEC filer
- Deep understanding and experience navigating DOL regulations governing employee benefit plans
- Offers professional advice regarding accounting standards and emerging accounting pronouncements, including providing support in navigating and complying with complex accounting requirements
- Extensive experience in business combination and asset acquisition accounting
- Continually offers improvement ideas to strengthen internal controls and minimize risk
- Regularly instructs CPE qualifying training
- Licensed CPA in Pennsylvania
