
Caroline is a director with Baker Tilly’s specialty tax – federal credits and incentives practice. She specializes in identifying and maximizing research credit opportunities for companies of all types. With more than 15 years of experience as a research and development (R&D) tax credit specialist, Caroline works with companies of all sizes and types to conduct R&D studies and effectively document R&D methodologies to meet the requirements of the tax authorities. Applying her extensive experience working on R&D audits, Caroline assists companies with substantiating their R&D activities both efficiently and thoroughly, leveraging off of existing record keeping practices.

- Extensive experience working within the following industries: software development, AI, manufacturing, agriculture, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and engineering services
- Develops and implements optimized documentation strategies to ensure R&D substantiation is thorough, effective and efficient
- Works closely with Baker Tilly tax compliance team and other specialty groups to fully service clients and assist with tax planning
- Conducts new business development, team trainings and takes part in tax practice quality control practices
