Brent is a principal with Baker Tilly’s commercial services practice. He has been with the firm since 1998, serving professional service and retail clients. He specializes in accounting, assurance, tax and consulting services for closely held businesses and their owners.
- Performs audits, reviews and compilations of professional service and retail companies, including full disclosures
- Manages corporate, partnership and individual tax return engagements, including experience with multistate filings and consolidation issues
- Analyses and assesses internal controls and operational efficiencies
- Delivers financial projections and forecasts
- Leads employee benefit plan audits
- Assists clients with succession and financial planning to achieve goals and minimize tax impact
