Brad Mease is an audit partner with Baker Tilly’s manufacturing and distribution and higher education teams.
Brad has nearly 20 years of public accounting experience. He specializes in providing accounting and auditing services to clients in the manufacturing and distribution industry. Brad has also worked with many higher education institutions on everything from financial statement audits and single audits to internal audit and consulting projects.
- Leads multiple audit and attest engagements, including group audits of multinational organizations, internal controls projects, and other assurances services
- Extensive experience and expertise in providing audit and advisory services to private equity portfolio companies
- Guides clients through technical complexities, including adopting new accounting standards, accounting for business combinations, IFRS vs. US GAAP analysis and revenue recognition
- Offers recommendations to improve accounting, financial reporting and internal control systems
- Informs clients about industry trends and best practices
- Has the requisite continuing education (including Yellow Book requirements) to perform audits pursuant to Government Auditing Standards, including audits of federal programs under the Uniform Guidance
