
Aparna has practiced public accounting since 2004. She provides audit and consulting services to a wide range of health care clients, including long-term care and skilled nursing facilities, medical groups, including for-profit and FQHCs, community health centers, health plans, hospital systems, including governmental, not-for-profit, and for-profit, and other health care organizations.
Aparna has significant experience with internal control assessments, supplemental revenue programs, third-party settlements, self-insured liabilities, and assisting clients with technical accounting issues, including implementation of new standards as well as other matters.
Aparna is a member of the firm's Topic 606 implementation committee that was created to assist the firm and clients with implementation of Topic 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers.
In addition, from September 2011–2013, she completed a two-year rotation with the firm's national office and gained significant experience in various technical accounting and auditing matters from a national office perspective.
