Akia Rice is a tax principal with Baker Tilly. She specializes in high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses, with expertise in multistate, international and trust and estate taxation. She has experience in income taxation, planning and research.
Akia is an active member of various professional organizations, holding current and previous leadership roles. She has been a guest lecturer and speaker for the Marshall University Accounting Department and Marshall University's Beta Alpha Psi. Akia was a panelist for the first Inaugural Alys Smith Symposium on Women Professionals in 2022.
