The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) recently published the Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) fiscal year 2025 proposed rule. Many hospitals and health systems are trying to identify how the proposed regulations and updates under the Medicare IPPS system will impact them and where to focus their energy from a reimbursement and compliance standpoint.
