Grace Macalino is a director with Baker Tilly’s healthcare consulting practice. As a senior scientist epidemiologist, she supports life sciences companies and other organizations with evidence generation and strategy, study design and data analyses.
Grace brings 25 years of clinical research experience as an epidemiologist at the senior leadership level. An agile, flexible professional who has operated in health sciences/biotech, academia, not-for-profit, National Institute of Health (NIH) and military settings. Demonstrates extensive experience in communicating to broad medical audiences including regulators, patients, funders, providers and opinion leaders in the scientific community. Able to effectively drive multi-project programs. A seasoned program manager of multisite studies and interdisciplinary teams spanning multiple countries. Earned international reputation for research methods, data analytics and extracting high-impact insights.
Grace has also secured over $4.9 million in DoD funding over seven years; authored as well as contributed to 74 journal articles and five book chapters; peer reviewed and invited 79 presentations at national and international conferences.
