Don Lifto, a director with Baker Tilly, has 25 years of experience as a public-school superintendent and more than 13 years of experience serving primarily public-school clients. Don’s direct client responsibilities focus primarily on the design and administration of scientific, random-sample and online surveys. These surveys measure community perceptions, satisfaction, priorities for spending and the feasibility to gain community support through a referendum when seeking additional resources for operations, technology or debt issuance for buildings. He also provides support to school districts or other municipal clients in planning and executing tax elections. In addition to his survey and referendum work, Don has consulted on a variety of organizational and management studies for school districts seeking to improve quality and efficiency.
