Baker Tilly Digital is a corporate partner of HATW, offering technical support, resources and infrastructure help. Baker Tilly Digital has made five separate visits to Zambia to raise money for the Hands Around the World charity. Each time, a team member has visited for two weeks, to volunteer and help in all ways possible. From gifting hardware and resources, to assisting at summer school. This is a charity project that our employees feel very strongly about, with overwhelming feedback and involvement from all.
In collaboration with The Heart of England Forest Charity, the Baker Tilly Digital team managed to plant an impressive 736 Oak trees throughout the day on March 6, 2020. This opportunity not only gave the consultants a chance to spend some quality time together away from customer projects, but was also a fantastic way to do our bit and help the environment. The Heart of England Forest Charity helps to protect restore the environment, by conserving a 30,000-acre forest.
Baker Tilly Digital partnered with Capital Orchestra to bring a synergy between an IT company and an orchestra. Capital Orchestra would provide its unique brand of music for Baker Tilly Digital’s video output, while the orchestra would have the opportunity to showcase its distinctive brand of music to a wider audience.
Each year, Baker Tilly Digital employees take part in a range of different challenges, to raise money for charity. These challenges get all employees together, for a fun day out to raise as much money as possible for different charities.
2020 – Completing a triathlon
In completing this challenge, our employees took on one or more elements of an Ironman Triathlon, one of the most enduring and brutal long-distance triathlons you can undertake. This meant that our employees could choose to either cycle 112 miles (180.25km), run or walk 26.2 miles (42.20km) or swim 2.4 miles (3.86 km).
Raising a total of £9,342 to be donated to the Young Minds chosen charity.
2022 – The challenge set for 2022 is to complete the Great Cloud Walker Challenge in Derbyshire. Hiking, abseiling and paddling in the Lake District.
Baker Tilly Digital sponsored the Made in Yorkshire awards 2019, a group of awards to celebrate world-class companies in the Yorkshire and Humber areas.
