Client need

Ohio Valley Nursing Home, doing business as Ohio Valley Health Care, is an acclaimed skilled nursing facility located in Parkersburg, West Virginia. With a spacious 38,585 square-foot area, the facility boasts more than 66 licensed beds, catering primarily to the senior population in the region. Ohio Valley Health Care offers residents physical, occupational and speech therapy. The owners invested in creating a high-quality facility in its geography and are proud of the personal care with skilled nursing and therapy services offered to residents. After the facility was passed down from multiple generations of family ownership, the current owners were focused on finding a new partner to uphold the facility’s strong culture among employees and state-wide reputation for excellent patient care.

Baker Tilly Capital solution

Recognizing the significance of selecting the right partner, Ohio Valley Health Care engaged Baker Tilly Capital, LLC (Baker Tilly Capital) to lead a full sale process. Baker Tilly Capital’s team used their industry knowledge and insights to find potential healthcare providers capable of aligning with Ohio Valley Health Care’s vision. After an extensive evaluation, Baker Tilly Capital successfully identified Camden Clark Medical Center (Camden Clark), an affiliate of WVU Medicine, as an ideal partner. Camden Clark’s integration of Ohio Valley Health Care into its healthcare network will increase its presence in skilled nursing and therapy services.
