NEW YORK (June 28, 2018) – Leading accounting and advisory firm Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP (Baker Tilly) is pleased to announce the leadership contributions of four of the firm’s professionals to the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA).
Harold Deiters finished up his tenure as president of the NYSSCPA. Deiters will move into the immediate past president role and serve as a director for the next year. He is a partner providing litigation, valuation and matrimonial consulting services in the New York regional offices of Baker Tilly.
Jean Han is the chair of the Business Valuation Committee. Han is a partner providing litigation, valuation and matrimonial consulting services in the New York office. Her areas of expertise include business valuation, forensic accounting, fraud investigation, estate and financial planning.
George Rubino is appointed as the chair of the Taxation of Individuals Committee. Rubino is a tax manager in the private client group in Manhattan. He specializes in tax services and financial planning for high net worth individuals.
Patrick Yu takes on the role of chair of the Not-for-Profit Organizations Committee. Yu is a partner in the healthcare/not-for-profit services practice group in the New York regional offices of Baker Tilly. He has more than 23 years of experience in providing various audit, review, accounting and consulting services to for-profit and not-for-profit entities.
