Re-election comes early in Whitman’s first term as CEO

CHICAGO (Feb. 9, 2018) – Leading accounting and advisory firm Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP (Baker Tilly) announces the election of Alan Whitman to a second three-year term as chief executive officer. “I am honored by the confidence and trust my fellow partners have placed in me," Whitman said. “I look forward to continuing our work together as we build our future today.”

Whitman’s vision and progressive leadership are guiding the firm’s culture of growth. With a focus on executing strategy, Whitman and his leadership team are doubling organic growth rates as advisory and specialized services expand.

And for our team members, growth provides a challenging and rewarding career centered on lifelong learning.”

As chairman and CEO of Baker Tilly, Whitman sets the pace for the firm’s success. With an emphasis on collaboration, Whitman brings people together to achieve ambitious goals. Under his leadership, Baker Tilly is making a notable difference in several areas, including:

Baker Tilly is using its own implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), advanced analytics and machine learning to help clients embrace new technologies and gain efficiencies. From tax preparation to audits to customer experience mapping, Baker Tilly is applying automation across its firm to streamline processes and provide clients with even more valuable insight, not just analytics.
