Drive decisions aligned with student and institutional success with DASH

Data analytics tools play a vital role to optimize processes across college and university campuses. The benefits of using a data analytics tool range from having instant access to data and the ability to find specific data points with ease to benchmarking against peer institution data, reporting in real-time and making data-driven decisions.

What is DASH?

Baker Tilly’s Data Analytics Solution for Higher Education (DASH) delivers an interactive dashboard for decision-makers to leverage institution and industry performance metrics. DASH allows users to collect and view data in one centralized platform, has an easy-to-use interface and allows users to create an unlimited number of custom benchmarking groups.

DASH is designed with higher education’s unique needs and priorities top of mind. Its intuitive interface and analytical engine are based on a wealth of industry knowledge gained from thousands of college and university projects and incorporates data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).

Higher education leaders recognize that identifying student net tuition revenue, the associated costs and marginal revenue analysis of academic programs is required data needed for strategic decision making today as fiscal constraints are more prevalent than ever. An important step is understanding the revenue and related costs of instruction, net tuition revenue per student and retention by program, student, class or major. The DASH dashboard can provide the graphical information needed to evaluate this data and provide context for discussions and key decisions.

New feature!

Our team knows how important benchmarking is to our higher education clients. We are excited to share our newest feature in our ever-evolving DASH tool – custom benchmarking. This feature gives institutions the ability to create custom benchmark groups. College and university users can generate an unlimited number of custom groups with up to 10 institutions per group, tailored specifically to your institution’s needs.
